Zalman Z9 Iceberg: Stylish midi tower with plenty of space for fans and radiators
Zalman equips the Z9 Iceberg with extensive options for placing case fans. A total of up to seven 120 or six 140 mm fans can be distributed in the case: three 120 or 140 mm fans on the front, three 120 or two 140 mm fans on the cover and one 120 or 140 mm on the rear wall. Alternatively, two large 200 mm fans can be installed on the front for high airflow at low speed. Processor coolers are supported up to a maximum height of 185 mm. Two 140 mm fans are pre-installed from the factory.

If you prefer to install a custom or complete water cooling system instead, the Z9 Iceberg has a lot to offer: A 360 triple or 240 dual radiator can be attached to the front and to the lid, and a single radiator can be attached to the rear wall. Radiator with 120 or 140 mm. Even heavily overclocked systems are effectively cooled and run at low temperatures even under permanent load. Removable dust filters are integrated in the top panel and below the power supply slot for easy cleaning.

Plenty of space for drives and numerous connections
The Zalman Z9 Iceberg offers the option of accommodating numerous drives. The supplied modular drive cage holds two 3.5- or 2.5-inch drives and can be moved within the power supply bay if necessary. This then allows the installation of particularly large radiators up to 360 mm in length. In the standard configuration with HDD cage, power supplies up to 270 mm in length can be installed. If this is not used, space is created for power packs up to 390 mm long. Either two additional 3.5-inch or three 2.5-inch drives can be accommodated on the rear of the mainboard tray.

The I / O panel of the Zalman Z9 Iceberg is equipped with two USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as one USB 3.1 type C port. There are also two 3.5 mm jack sockets, one of which acts as a headphone output and the other as a microphone input. In addition to the reset and power button (with LED for monitoring the HDD), there is also a button for controlling the LED lighting.

Chic design and clever details
The front of the midi tower is particularly noticeable. The angular design with sloping surfaces is stylish and at the same time offers wide recesses for side ventilation slots. The left side panel is made of tempered glass and allows an unobstructed view of the built-in hardware. The housing is completely black to match. The power supply slot ensures a tidy interior, as it skilfully conceals the power supply unit and its connection cables. On the back of the mainboard tray there are three Velcro fasteners and several openings for convenient cable management.

There are seven horizontal slots for expansion cards on the back of the case. Graphics cards up to a maximum length of 390 mm can be installed here. The Zalman Z9 Iceberg includes an adjustable graphics card support to prevent particularly heavy cards from sagging. In extreme cases, this can cause the cooler to detach from the PCB. Alternatively, the graphics card can also be installed in the three vertical expansion slots. In combination with the side wall made of tempered glass, it really comes into its own.

A corresponding x16 riser cable is not included with the case, but is available separately.
