The Tenda O9 Outdoor 5GHz 23dBi WiFi 5 Point-To-Point PtP Link is designed for PtP and PtMP solutions for privated ISP wireless connectivity, CCTV surveillance and data transmission. It features a 23dBi directional dual polarisation antenna to provide an efficient way to pick up and maintain a stable long-distance connectivity up to 25km. Adopting auto-bridging technology, two units can connect to each other automatically to make it easy to setup.

450 Mbps Wireless Throughput
The O9 adopts 11AC wave2 (WiFi 5) technology, with speeds up to 867Mbps on the 5GHz radio. It features one (1) Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, with the maximum throughput test for PtP connection up to 450Mbps.
6000V Surge Protection Design
The O9 includes up to 6000V surge protection on its Ethernet port, making it more robust in thundery weather.
Easy Assembly and Installation
With three-axis alignment, the O9 is easy to assemble in seconds, with no tools needed – only a single screw driver is required for pole-mounting.
Tenda TDMA Proprietary Protocol
TD-MAX is Tenda’s TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) proprietary protocol to improve performance and capacity for wireless WISP outdoor application scenarios.
In outdoor enviroments, CPEs use highly directional antennas to connect to the basestation from distances that can span several kilometres. The CPEs can’t sense each other, meaning that they become “hidden nodes” and cannot coordinate access to the wireless channel, resulting in the basestation experiencing frequent collisions from stations transmitting simultaneously. As the network scales, these collisions build up exponentially, increasing latency and lowering throughput.
With TD-MAX, it coordinates all the data transmissions and allocates time to active clients to provide greater noise immunity performance when compared to the conventional 802.11 CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access / Collision Avoidance) protocol.
Channel Shift to Avoid Interference
The O9 provides a Channel Shift feature to offset the central frequency 5MHz upper. It can avoid interference from nearby APs and deliver higher throughput.
CPE Assistant-Centralised Management Platform
The O9 is equipped with CPE Assistant, a centralised management software that helps users easily manage all the devices in their network from a single PC. Functions like device discovery, status monitoring, firmware upgrading, and network maintenance can be managed using CPE Assistant.
Multiple Application Scenarios
Long-Distance Wireless Connection
One unit works in AP mode and another unit (sold separately) works in Station mode to create a long distance PtP wireless connecton for privated ISP wireless connectivity, CCTV surveillance and data transmission.
WISP(Client Router) Mode
Wirelessly connect to WISP station/hotspot to share internet to local wireless and wired network.
